I went to see Ms. Amato for Estate Planning I wanted to get all my affairs in order. (Wills,advanced directives and etc.).Ms. Amato guided me in the right direction and made suggestions that would benefit me. She walked me through each step,she was patient answered all my questions. She got all of my paperwork done in a timely in a timely fashion. Having that done helped bring peace of mind to my life. She is a class act.

I hired Linda to help me with my estate planning, including transferring all of my assets into a revocable trust, establishing power of attorney, healthcare proxy, and other related matters. I had put off handling these things because although I'm young and healthy, I was uncomfortable thinking about and dealing with such potential end-of-life issues and scenarios. And as a single woman with no children, I found contemplating these issues even more difficult. It's sobering to face end-of-life "what ifs" when you're alone. Linda is not only an expert in these legal matters, she's also a very caring advocate--especially for single women. I truly appreciated the time she took to explain the pros and cons of all the options available to me and that she did so in a very personal and supportive way. I highly recommend Linda as an estate planning attorney.

I have had the pleasure of consulting with Ms. Amato on several occasions while preparing a revocable trust. My husband and I, both quite senior, needed an estate planner. Linda's expertise and the time spent over several meetings to explain intricacies were much appreciated. She was especially helpful in sorting out our complicated beneficiaries situation. And she made sure we secured our documents by giving us a year's subscription to DocuBank. Once the plan was completed, and we'd paid her reasonable fee, I phoned several times for advice, which she gave pro bono. Her assistant, Amanda, also was most helpful throughout the process.

We were a family in great stress with multi-faceted problems, and limited time in NYC. We were seen quickly and Linda Amato applied her legal and social working skills to address all the issues with a comprehensive plan. In these troubled times that we live in, it was very reassuring to have worked with Ms. Amato in establishing an estate plan that would be relevant, accurate and all inclusive to protect me and my 2 sons. I met Ms. Amato at a workshop she gave at the Riverdale Y some time ago and was amazed at all the things that were of the utmost importance in creating an estate plan, in my case, a revocable plan. She spoke of wills, health care issues, revocable vs. irrevocable trusts, etc. It was overwhelmed to say the least! Ms. Amato was very knowledgeable, well prepared, addressed all questions ensuring her responses were understood by her audience. I took her up on her offer of a free consultation and was allowed to bring my friend Susan as an extra set of ears. Having been widowed and dealing with my husband's business affairs, I was not thinking of my future or the future of my sons. Ms. Amato put it all in perspective and very patiently explained things and presented various options. I asked her for her professional opinion and found that it was certainly the way to go. It took some time for me to gather the necessary information but we finally got the job done! Her staff in the Bronx office was very helpful as well. Although my documents have been "signed, sealed and delivered", Ms. Amato will still take my calls and respond to any questions that might come up. She is truly a professional who enjoys what she does and does not look at the clock to rush you out. She is trustworthy and will keep you informed on the progress she is making with your plan. I highly recommend meeting with Ms. Amato and see how she can put your mind at ease!
